What Is Bizarro?

To put it in the simplest terms, Bizarro is like the

cult section of your local video store. A place where taboos often dwell, where genres (Horror, Sci-Fi, Comedy, Satire, etc.) mingle and merge to create something more potent than genre constraints generally allow.

-  UPDATE: Filming complete on short film WE EAT WHAT WE KILL (formerly DATE NIGHT)

Now on to editing. In the meantime, we’ve hired artist Alex McVey to create the poster for the film. Alex is an award-winning illustrator who has illustrated the works of Stephen King, Joe R. Lansdale, William Peter Blatty, Jack Ketchum, Brian Keene, H.P. Lovecraft, and Richard Matheson, among others. He also illustrated the cover of my novel latest VOODOO CHILD (co-written with Wayne Simmons).

You can find out more about Alex at his official website.

Just to clear up any confusion regarding the HOLLOW-EYED MARY TRAILER. You'll notice that the graphic at the end shows the original title, Dead Bitch Army, which we were still using back when the trailer was shot in October '07. It wasn't until the distributors suggested changing it to make the GN more "market friendy" that it became Hollow-Eyed Mary. I originally intended for Hollow-Eyed Mary to be the title of a third and final book in the DBA series.
